How do I get into this fantastic opportunity?
This scholarship is available to students planning to study at Michigan University from September 2022 to August 2026. In order to be considered, you will need a minimum of certain standard level or points from either international exam or your high school grade and an above average grade point average at A-level or its equivalent. You will also need English Language proficiency test as well as a reference from your Professor, School principal or Head of Year.
The application process involves two stages; stage one is submission of an online application form with answers to several questions about yourself and your aspirations. Stage two involves a personal interview in which you will be asked further questions about your academic achievements, extra curricular activities and future career plans. If successful in these stages you will receive full funding for tuition fees plus maintenance costs. Similarly you can also apply for Yale University’s Scholarship (2022/2023)
What are my expenses once I am there?
You’ll need to consider your financial aid, tuition and expenses once you’re at Michigan. At present, one semester costs approximately $16,750 in tuition fees and $1,900 in other fees (housing is not included). Of course, if you are receiving scholarship funding from Michigan or another source, your total cost will be significantly lower. Additionally, many students find part-time work on campus to help reduce their expenses during school.

To be eligible, applicant MUST:

All international students who meet all other U-M application requirements and complete both parts of their application (the School application and at least one departmental application) by December 15, 2022.
MBA -international students can apply to MBA program as juniors or seniors. There is no minimum GPA required. MBA program are also fully funded including fee waiver for international students, which means that your total cost will be less than if you were not on any scholarships.
After being admitted to their program, you’ll have up to one year after matriculation to pursue and fulfil your academic requirements in order to receive your degree.

When do I have to apply, and how long can I stay at UM?
Application for all programs begins in June, and it’s recommended to apply as early as possible. Applicants will be notified of their admissions status by mid-July. Decisions are usually final, with no appeals allowed, so make sure to review your application carefully before submitting. You must maintain full-time enrollment (at least 12 credit hours) each fall and spring semester that you wish to remain eligible for a UM program.

When do I graduate from UM with a full degree?
To receive a full degree from UM, you’ll need to have earned an undergraduate degree and have completed a minimum of 30 credit hours in your major. To graduate, however, you must earn both a baccalaureate and master’s degree in five years or less. Once you submit your Master’s project (or thesis), after completing all required coursework at UM—including earning your capstone with Thesis Option—the Master’s program will request that your department approve your academic progress toward completion of a master’s degree. With that approval, you can officially graduate!
