Undergraduate: The Michigan State University International Student Program offers many opportunities for international students to pursue their academic and personal interests. Graduate School applicants are also eligible for funding through the Kahn Scholars Program which provides more than $13 million annually in aid money, making it one of America’s largest graduate financial aid programs.*
Graduate: The Michigan State University International Graduate Fellowship program is designed to provide financial assistance for graduate studies leading toward academic degrees or advanced professional degrees at MSU (including master’s degree). It provides funding up to $30,000 per year over four years; however this may vary depending on the field chosen by an applicant.*
International students are eligible to apply for scholarships. The university recommends that you submit your application by the priority deadline and then follow up with a separate application after the priority deadline. International applicants must also submit a visa application, which can take up to six weeks or longer depending on where you live and how quickly your country processes visas. You will need to prove financial need as well as English proficiency before being admitted into the university (or any other institution).
